DC Federal Legislative Initiative

 

DC FLI is a weekend long leadership training event that takes place at the nation's capital, and culminates with meetings on Capitol Hill. Through interactive workshops, AANP State Alliance sessions, and networking events, the FLI gives ND students a unique opportunity to make their voices heard for advancing the profession of naturopathic medicine. The training empowers students to be able to represent themselves and their profession with confidence, and strengthens their ability to further their own state association's advocacy work.

The weekend is packed with informational seminars, inspirational talks, and incredible opportunities to learn and grow as a leader - and the best part is that it's a ton of fun! To the left are some of UBCNM students and faculty who attended the 2017 and 2018 FLI.
